Well it’s that time of year to grab that camera and head to the Colorado Rocky Mountains for the fall colors! This year with so much rain the Colorado Fall Colors 2013 is off to a slow start, most of Colorado Fall Colors are just starting to kick off but if you look hard you can find some Aspens like the picture above. This was taken today September 6th just off of Hoosier Pass driving up to Blue Lakes, but I bet by next weekend Summit County and the Northern Rockies Aspens trees will really be kicking off!!
Another must visit place to see the Colorado Fall Colors is to go to Southwest Colorado San Juan Mountains, that area depending on elevation tends to change later in September to early October, and taking a nice road trip around the Mountains is always a must around this time of year. Checking the long term weather it looks like fall like temps will be rolling into Colorado Monday September 6th, which means there is a good chance you will start seeing snow on top of the highest peaks.
